After installing Drupal for your website, you have to access the Admin panel dashboard. Administrator panel dashboard is the place where you find all the option to configure or setup or to install or to create any content or taxonomy or anything. Without the control panel dashboard, your Drupal website is noting to control. After creating some tutorials, at the last tutorial, one guy asked me how to access the Dashboard panel. In this tutorial, I would explain how to access the Dashboard panel of Drupal 8 or Drupal 7 website.
Requirements:
- Drupal Installed website (Drupal 7 / Drupal 8)
Extra Modules:
- No modules
How to log in to the Drupal 7 Administrator Dashboard?
Follow the following steps to log in to the Drupal 7 Administrator Dashboard:
Step 1: Open any browser and type the website address in the address bar of the web browser and hit Enter key to go to the website. For example, we use Firefox browser and our domain is www.hidemytips.com. So, we open the browser and type the address to the address bar of the browser. At last hit enter key of the keyboard. Remember, you have to type your own web address in the address bar.
Step 2: When the website will be displayed, you will find a log in block of the website. In the login block type your admin username and password. Sometimes, you may have to type Captcha if the Drupal website use Captcha module to prevent spambots. After that, click on the Log in button to login.
And that’s all. If the username and password is correct, then you will access the dashboard panel of your Drupal website.
Remember, each user has a Dashboard if your website is build using Drupal 8 or Drupal 7. But the Dashboard for all users are not the same. The admin Dashboard has all options and other users dashboard options depend on site administrator configurations.
